Identity Verification

‍Every applicant verifies their identity online. There's nothing to print or post, and no branch visit.

We'll send each applicant a secure link by SMS to the mobile number on your application. You'll take a photo of your ID, then a quick video selfie so we can confirm it's you - it usually takes a few minutes.

‍You'll need one of the following:

-Australian Passport (current, or expired within the last 2 years)

-Australian Driver's Licence (must be current)

-Foreign Passport (must be current)

If you're using a foreign passport, we'll also ask for your visa grant notice or VEVO check. This is uploaded separately as a document at submission. If we can't complete the check - for example if the photo isn't clear - we'll contact you and let you know what we need.

Income Verification

We also require documentation to verify your income. In general, we require 2 payslips, however we may request additional documents based on the information that you declare.

Self employed applicants must provide 2 years of tax returns and corresponding financial statements.

Liabilities Verification

If you have any liabilities, we require the most recent statement for each of your current liabilities. We may request additional documents for further verification if required.
