Just a name that better reflects what we do; help Aussies Skip to the owning bit.
Being the best country in the world, has meant demand for housing has grown. Banks and lenders have been unwilling or unable to innovate. The result is Aussies buying homes later in life, with more obligations. Forced to trade-off growing a family and securing a home. We think that’s a pretty sh*t, and un-Australian outcome.
We believe a deposit shouldn’t define homeownership.
So we created a better way.
We’re backing Aussies and are your Skip button to home ownership. Skip the the B.S. and start building your life and family.

FAQs
1. Your loan stays exactly the same:
This change does not impact your loan, interest rate, repayments, fees or loan terms in any way.
2. Repayments and direct debits:
Your regular loan repayments will continue as normal.
Commencing from the 16th of February, the direct debit will appear on your bank statement as “Skip Loans” instead of “Sucasa Loans”.
3. Loan documents:
Your existing loan documents remain valid.
Documents that reference Sucasa are still legally effective after our name change.
4. Your Sucasa App:
The Sucasa borrower app will automatically be rebranded as Skip via your phone’s app store.
Your login details stay the same.
Depending on your device settings, this may take a few days or weeks.
5. Accelerator loan name change:
The ‘Accelerator Loan’ will now be called the ‘Secondary Loan’.
Nothing else has changed. This is a name change only.
6. Our email address:
From next week, emails from us will come from @skiploans.com.au.
Emails sent to our old Sucasa addresses will still reach us.
Our phone number remains the same.
7. Security reminder:
Please remember we never ask for your password or login details. And we will never ask you for banking details by email, SMS or phone.

8. Timing:
These changes will start to take effect from Monday, the 16th of February
1. Your pre-approval is not impacted in any way:
Nothing changes. Your pre-approval is still valid.
2. Documents:
Any loan-related documents you’ve already received, signed or are yet to complete that reference 'Sucasa' remain valid. That means your pre-approval or formal approval letters, loan contracts and all supporting documents are all still valid.
There’s no need to re-issue or re-sign anything, even if prior documents say 'Sucasa' and new documents say 'Skip'.
This name change will not affect your approval or settlement timeframes.
3. Same team:
The same team is looking after your loan application.
From next week, emails will come from @skiploans.com.au, but emails to our old Sucasa address will still reach us.
Our phone number remains the same.
4. Skip App:
After your loan settles, you’ll use the Skip app/portal. It’s the same as the Sucasa app, just with a new name.
5. Accelerator loan name change:
The ‘Accelerator Loan’ is now called the ‘Secondary Loan’.
Nothing else has changed. This is a name change only.
6. Security reminder:
Please remember we never ask for your password or login details. And we will never ask you for banking details by email, SMS or phone.

This change does not impact interest rate, repayments, fees or loan terms in any way.
2. Existing client loan documents:
Any client documents with the Sucasa name, whether pending or completed, are still valid and don’t need changing.
New documents that may be issued with the Skip name don’t affect the prior documents issued at all.
3. Client pre-approval renewals:
Any client pre-approvals renewed from Monday the 16th onwards will be issued under the Skip name.
4. Sharing this change with your clients:
If helpful, you’re welcome to share this page with clients explaining the name change.
5. Same team:
The same BDM team is looking after you.
